POLICIES


DEPARTURES:
Passengers will be notified by telephone for day trips and by letter for multiple day
trips with their departure times 14 days prior to the trips departure.    If you sign up
less than 2 weeks prior to a trip leaving, your pickup point may be limited.  Please let
us know your pickup point when you sign up for a trip.

PICKUP SERVICES:
For all trips we will offer a pickup point in Decatur.  Other pickup points may include:
Taylorville, Moweaqua, as well as selected towns along the travel route determined
by Timi's Tours.   Timi's Tours acts solely in the capacity of an agent on behalf of its
tour patrons in arranging for transportation, lodging, sightseeing, & other services
and, as such, is not responsible for damage, loss, delay, injury or accident to any act
or default on the part of any company person engaged in providing transportation,
lodging, sightseeing or other services which are part of the tour. We cannot be
responsible for the loss of or damage to baggage, or personal property.  The right is
reserved to decline to accept or to retain any person as a member of any tour or to
cancel or alter any tour if circumstances require it.

TOUR POLICIES & GUIDELINES:        
Itineraries:  The shows, attractions, and trips listed on our itineraries are the ones for
which we currently hold reservations.  However, changes may occur, due to non-
participation, cancellation by performer’s availability, changes of which we have no
control over.  If changes occur, we will give you ample notice and a refund if it is
necessary.
Payments:  
1/2 of the total payment is due upon booking a one-day trip, with the remaining
payment due 30 days prior to the trip.  There might be some exceptions for full
payment required and these will be specified on the itinerary.  Multiple-day trips
require a deposit specified to hold your spot, with payments set to our specifications
to be carried out with the remaining payment being due 30 days prior to the trip. NO
EXCEPTIONS!!!
Departures:
Please indicate your choice of pickup point at the time you make your reservations.
Pickups:  Specify if you're traveling with a friend/companion.  If you are late for your
pickup, you may drive to the nearest pickup location and board the coach.  Please
notify us (if possible) if this occurs, we are equipped with cell phones and our
numbers are on your itinerary.  Unfortunately, "No Shows" will NOT be granted a
refund for any portion of the tour.  Please be at your pickup point at least 15 minutes
prior to departure time.  No changes will be made to the pickup point 7 working days
prior to departure.
Passengers:
In order to provide maximum comfort for all our passengers, Timi's Tours has
adopted a No-Smoking policy on Timi’s Tours.  We will make rest stops approximately
every two to three hours for your convenience.  Passengers booking a single room,
for a multiple day trip, will NOT be guaranteed that you will not have to share a seat
on the motor coach. Appropriate clothes and shoes must be worn when attending
lunch/dinner theatre shows.  Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes for all of
our tours.  Each passenger is allowed one suitcase and one additional carry-on bag.  
Minimum age for passengers on Timi’s Tours is five (5) years of age.  NO PETS of any
kind allowed on the motor coach.  By traveling with Timi’s Tours you give us full
permission to use any photos taken during a trip to be used on our Timi’s Tours
website and Facebook.  Any person who is traveling with Timi’s Tours and requires
refrigerated medication, it is the passengers responsibility, NOT Timi’s Tours, to bring
a cooler to keep their medications cold.  Not all hotels have refrigerators.
Insurance:  Travel Insurance is provided by Timi's Tours.  We strongly suggest you
purchase it on all multiple-day trips.
Cancellations & Refunds:
Once final payment is made, cancellation (for any reason) within 4 weeks of the trip is
NON-REFUNDABLE.  Traveler is responsible to fill their vacancy or forfeit their
monies.  There are some trips that have special policies over and above this and they
will not be awarded a full refund due to pre-trip expenses.. When refunding, please
allow 7-10 business days following cancellation for processing. There will be a $20
charge on all returned checks for any reason, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Gratuities:  If you feel your driver has done an excellent job it is appropriate to tip
them.  We suggest a minimum of $2 per person for each day you travel with them
.
