Joe's incredible talent to capture the spirit of Dean Martin has taken him to Steubenville, Ohio the birthplace of Dino Crocetti (Dean Martin). He has performed for the annual Dean Martin Birthday Bash on several occasions. This Las Vegas style show includes a live band! "I was sitting there while Joe was performing. From Plinko to Cliffhangers to the Big Wheel, and even the fabulous showcase, all the favorite games are played just like the TV show. October 6th, Saturday, American Pickers in LeClaire, IA Join us on a ride to the lovely Mississippi river town of LeClaire, Iowa home of The Buffalo Bill Museum, many quaint shops, lovely views and the now famous Antique Archaeology better known as the History Channel's American Pickers. Yes, we are seeing Mike's store first hand! $89 per person October 12-20th, Fall Foliage 9 Days, 8 Nights, and 12 Meals (we added one!) Travel with us through the Nation's lovely foliage, accommodations at The Country Inn & Suites in Elyria, Ohio. Enjoy lunch and a tour at the Lucy Ball-Desi Arnaz Center in Jamestown, NY, travel then to East Greenbush, NY for the night at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott. Day 3 we'll arrive at Cheers for an included lunch in Boston and meet our step on guide for the afternoon. We'll spend two nights in Brockton, MA at the Country Inn & Suites. Day 4 will be touring of Boston with our guide. Day 5 we'll take a short two hour drive stopping along the way to meet a step on guide to tour Kennebunkport, ME before checking into the Holiday Inn Express at Sable Oaks in South Portland, Maine. We'll also have a guide for Portland that includes a lighthouse. That evening you'll enjoy a "fancy" included dinner at Dimillo's, a huge floating restaurant. You will enjoy either Maine Lobster or Steak. Day 6 we'll drive about five hours for a two night stay in Rutland, Vermont at the Hampton Inn. That afternoon we'll tour The Adams Family Farm in Wilmington. We'll climb aboard for an authentic wagon ride, pulled by vintage tractors from the farms own historic collection of antique John Deere tractors. The narrated ride takes us through the maple and pine groves, along the ridge of the Adams Farm mountain, to where you'll experience Vermont's awesome beauty. The trout in Farmer Bill's Trout Pond grow as long as his arm! That's no fish tale. Bill will show us a sheep herding demonstration with their Collie and Vermont Merino Sheep. Day 8 is fun filled as we start the day with a short drive through the amazing foliage to the famous Vermont Country Store in Weston. In the afternoon we'll visit Hildene, the summer home of Robert Todd Lincoln. The only son of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln to survive to adulthood became Chairman of the Pullman Company, the largest manufacturing corporation at the turn of the 20th century. He built his Georgian Revival mansion in 1905 in the scenic village of Manchester. We'll visit the Chocolatorium next for a unique lesson on the history and types of chocolate. Next will be The Sugar Shack in East Arlington, VT for Vermont products shopping, an extensive collection of Norman Rockwell artwork and more. Day 8 we'll travel back to the same hotel in Ohio and arrive home on Day 9. Each person going will be given a $25 Timi's Tours Reward Card to be used on a future trip. October 15th, Monday, Covered Bridge Festival in Indiana This countywide festival, Indiana's largest festival, always starts on the second Friday in October and is nationally known as one of the largest. Enjoy visiting communities throughout the county with a wide array of shopping and a variety of food that is sure to please everyone. We visit both Bridgeton and Mansfield. $78 per person October 26th, Friday, Jewelry Show at the Rosemont in Chicago, IL Join us for another fun jewelry show where you can purchase all types of jewelry: watches $6, bracelets $3, glass necklaces $2, & many more inexpensive treasures.
